Once the war starts I will try to be as optimistic as I can, just hoping it doesn't cost us too much in too many ways. Even if it helps Bush I will rejoice if the war ends quickly. But I do worry about:

1) If we cannot use Turkey OR have to pay them 30 billion
2) If Saddam decides to go out in a blaze of "glory"
3) If Saddam destroys his oilfields (with our men in them)
4) If Saddam gets lucky and hits us with WMD
5) If this triggers more terrorism
6) If the world hates us afterward
7) If oil prices remain sky-high
8) If it was all so Bushies can get the oil and use Iraq as a staging ground to invade Iran (for more oil)
9) If this thing drags out and we have to shoulder 90% of the cost and pain

All of these bad things could happen. So yes I worry, and chafe whenever Bush supporters talk about this as if it's a walk in the park with moral clarity.
