If it was 1994 and I said "The US was unwilling and unable to act in the face of tyranny. Recent events have demonstrated that nothing has changed" it would have been 100% accurate. The US stood aside and allowed genocide in Bosnia and Rwanda. I'm glad we are more focused now. But don't kid yourself that Republicans or Democrats have a consistent record of helping humanity in a timely fashion. It isn't there. Win some, lose some, it's all arbitrary.
