i suspect geoff meant the same thing that i meant. I am not worried of offending you with one opinion or another, more that this is your thread for a stock picking contest, and that it is not really the place to get into a debate about issues that can eventually overwhelm the posts here. We all appreciate the work you put into the contest threads, and i think that everyone makes their best attempt to keep the them as tangent free as possible. (ok, i have made up an expression there) I would like to point out, that this may in fact be the only thread in SI where i have witnessed opposite opinions on iraq discussed in a respectful manner... where posters actually read the opposite opinions and consider them. It's a rare thing, and it speaks to the quality of the individuals here. You might find this corny, but it's the type of thing that encourages me. martin
