oh my god are you ever in denial. Whenever we have a polarizing situation like this, the swing voters come out- as it stands Bush is not leading in the polls right now against "some democrat with no baggage". Bush has one chance at this point- that is a perfect resolution to the iraq situation, with almost no casualties, Saddam Hussein gone and no unrest in Iraq afterwards, PLUS (this is the hard part) a robust economy in the US which is near impossible with these deficits. If those things happen, Bush can win- maybe. Otherwise he is so gone.
