Baggage on the scale of Bush's baggage you mean? Almost all of them, including Bill Clinton.

UK citizens feel that Bush is more of a threat to the world than Saddam Hussein. Now THAT is baggage.

I can't honestly see how Bush can survive this mess. Never say never but if the republican party chiefs are as in denial as some members of this thread as to where Bush stands with voters they better wake up. The swing voters are going to come out en masse against Bush, just like those midterm elections in 98 when the polls were predicting a republican landslide and instead Newt ended up getting ousted. Swing voter protest votes are the worst thing to campaign against.
