Jacob,

Do you have a point? or do you just take shots?

Its easy to critique the administration by saying they will buy there way to war and create a mess. Its also easy to blow off the Democrats for their appeasement in North Korea (I just came to an epiphany - its ok to pay off our enemies, but wrong to pay off our allies :-).

But seriously - what do we do in Iraq, North Korea or Iran?

My plan -

Iran - ignored at our peril. If their rush to nuclear bombs continues and the hard liners remain in control - Israel will attack (after all the hard liners have said they will nuke them). But what can we do? Nothing for now. We wait it out, but when they reach North Korean status we had better be prepared to do the job, or risk having the Israeli's do it and having a holy war.

North Korea - paid attention to at our peril. As the kid continues to act up, the parents pretend they don't notice. Neither China nor the US is paying them much attention and they can hardly stand it. But what do we do? Wait for them to calm down and quietly guarantee their regime on condition of sanity and non-proliferation. If they continue - we withdraw from South Korea (removing the tripwire) and bounce the rubble if they try to move on Japan or the South.

Iraq - we go in and liberate

John
