for each open access to a deadly threat we can recognize there are 10 more unexamined I agree with what you said, and did not express my point very clearly. Terrorists are not motivated by poverty or misery, they are not even motivated by pure ideology. The motivation seems to be a sense that there is no alternative means for change or protest. The "with us or agin' us" and win at all cost attitudes prevelent in the continuous campaigns pioneered by Lee Atwater promote just that kind of attitude. A sincere political effort will most likey be stomped out by massive spending, distortion, distraction, and fraud. This leaves in America a flavor of the motivations that can lead to people purposely not reporting actions that they ought to and that sort of passive/agressive behavior. TP
