With the exception of this unmanned drone that came up last Friday, Blix has pretty much trumped everything Powell has put out on the table. It really doesn't matter at this point. The most important reason for eliminating Saddam is, as per Friedman's column you posted the other day -- to protect ourselves from the "undeterables". He makes it clear, and I agree with him, that eliminating Saddam is critical to bringing about a reduction of anti-Americanism in the Middle East. It is self-defense for us to remove this guy. So we are going to do it.
