This morning there was on cbc radio a brit MP speaking on the need to 'de-stool' Tony Blair for appending the national foreign policy to that of another power against the wishes of the people ... kind of a classically blustering voice and tone, pretty funny, and the local pundits here found amusing the expression 'to de-stool' .... apparently it comes from West Africa where traditionally the chief or king would be the only one at meetings to be seated on a ceremonial stool, or else his was considerably higher than those of everyone else There is a lot of de-stooling needs doing in this ole world, no doubt about it I've been well, busy ... still a tich disappointed that the Elián thread didn't make a seamless transition from getting the boy released out of his captivity to getting him released out of dictatorship by de-stooling both Fidel and any wannabe replacements among the Miami mafiosos .... folks seem to think the story over, but it's not over, no story is ever over, really it's all just one story anyway since the Big Bang, and the trick is to keep it going as long as we can, eh ... didn't really mean to post here beyond last weekend though ... for some time there have been more posts than time allows for reading, don't want to contribute to excess, i can't get five per cent of them now, just keep you and Bilow peoplemarked, catch a few responses, that's it .... a while ago there was some minor point you made with which i disagreed, can't recall what it was though ... oh well -g- .... cheers
