I'm not convinced that Blair will fall. He won the last vote decisively despite 122 Labor votes cast against him. The Tories are saving him, and they are much more principled and conservative. Don't look for the Tories to make political hay out of Blair's problems with his Labor colleagues.

My understanding is that the scenario for Blair's removal would be identical to what happened to Thatcher... The opposing party would have no say in the move.

This is what is being orchestrated by Saddam's allies* in Labor right now.

* Saddam's allies... Bush's enemies... not sure which has the required nuance for present company.
