A few comments on the Thread:
We are not getting any obvious consensus on what the Administration should or should not do, which is fine
as the UN cannot reach a consensus either.
But what is said here in no way represents what the average American , or the silent majority thinks
Of my family members, which number quite a few, me being same age as GB 1- out of all my friends outside of SI, out of those I worked with in Aerospace for 30 years......
None, zero, zilch have posted here, and very few elsewhere on SI.
You will not find employees of Aerospace companies or many active Military types posting here unless they are long retired. I have worked for three divisions at NAA, three divisions at BA, 2 divisions at Douglas, 4 years at NOC, 4 years in the AF.
All the work , even at Boeing Flight Test, was classified confidential or higher, not to be discussed , not even with other divisions of the same company.
Another part of of the silent majority is the older generation, those who did not use computers, those who choose to expose and debate their political views to a less heated and critical audience than found here.
. Summary:
The amount of trashing of GWB and the Administration is taking here is grossly exaggerated.
