Bush has stabbed GOP moderates in the back too many times. Something will result. Chaffee, Snowe, McCain, the other Maine senator, these leaders are more in tune with Democrats now. Jeffords had the right idea. In fact Jeffords single-handedly stopped the phony energy crisis gouging in 2001. He saved us tens of billions. Why did it stop then? Because the Senate had subpoena powers against Bushies. The Bushies know they're liars and crooks. But right now November voters have handed them a big "get out of jail free" card. So they dont fear anyone or care what anyone thinks. They'll break any rule or say anything to get their secret agenda through. Looting the treasury and environment, more and more wars, propaganda and flag-waving covering up their crimes. You see, this is why we need John Kerry. And maybe now Kerry-McCain will happen.
