12 Mar 13:11

A U.S. Treasury spokesman said there were no plans to evacuate the Treasury
building, nor were there any indications that Treasury was specifically related
to the incident.

"There's no suspicion of anything that involves the Treasury building as far
as I know," the spokesman said.

District of Columbia police made the decision to evacuate the building, and
they are coordinating the investigation, the spokesman said. The evacuated
building is named Metropolitan Square and lies between F and G Streets
Northwest in downtown Washington.
