A nuke would be a danger. I suspect that chemical and biological would be less of a problem. All methods of delivery will have short life.

I'd suspect that counter battery technology can figure out launch points within seconds of launch. The command control can get counter munitions targeted and launched in minutes depending upon where.

BW and CW technology basivcally serves a barrier purpose.....Also...BTW....often not mentioned is the fact that our Bradleys and Abrams tanks are outfitted to travel quickly and without harm through chemical barriers.
