Indeed, where is the follow up? I think there are four losers in this: a) Bush and his fundamentalist radicals, as will be pegged by the historians; b) American journalists who haven't been able to report what they should be reporting; c) sons and daughters of America's military who'll have to follow unjust orders from the commander in chief; and d) sons and daughters, parents and grandparents of the Iraqi people. Unfortunately, the man who should lose the most, might actually win, at least in the eyes of Arabian historians and the masses--and this Saddam whether he lives or dies from the battle.

Better to not do the war but somehow get Saddam before an international tribunal for his crimes against humanity, rather than to have the US, itself, commit crimes against humanity.
