Maybe I just need to play more>> After you play awhile, basic strategy becomes almost automatic, and you anticipate when you'll need to use variations because the running count will be extreme. Practice helps (computer programs are fine for this), as do flash cards. Hey, playing for free drinks ain't bad either, and playing is much more engaging and interesting when you're counting. Probably not a good idea to drink much when you're trying to count though, 'cause it does slow one down some. Pity.....<G>
