Why is disarming Saddam worth 200 billion, thousands of American lives, hundreds of thousands of lost jobs and fractured alliances around the world? Not to mention all the other costs like falling markets and rising energy prices?

The fact is Bush is responsible for getting us into this costly position. Now how does he get us out? He'd left unilateral war as his only option. So he's as cornered as Saddam. And that was really not smart. If Saddam blows up his oil-fields we pay for everything.

Seems to me Bush has gone about this WRONG not right.
So again, name one thing he's done right. Afghanistan is the only thing I can think of. And that seems like a long time ago.
