It took a lot longer than 20 years to get in this position so 20 years might be a short cut.

Lets look at the no's. Alaska, California, Great Lakes. No drilling allowed. Ethanol from corn, modern cars run well on a 75% alcohol, 25% gas blend. No, the prior administration wanted 100% gas with MTBE that kills people.

Hydrogen needs a lot more work plus then you have to develop a distribution network.
