well I think its definitely coming regardless of this particular PR.

The truth is, companies like Cisco know they are in a global compeititve position and should have outsourced more of the company to a lower cost provider anyway. They were just cheating with options, paying US salaries when this should have gone to india. In the end they will be better off outsourcing now, then the options issue is irrelevant because indian engineers make 1/10 of US rates. I'm not sure about IP that is the only issue.

Intel is perfectly free to ignore the new ruling(s) by the FSAB, just as they free to ignore rulings by the private-sector "Restroom Attendants Advisory Panel."

The FSAB is no more a part of government, and bound by the Constitution, and having judicial or legislative power over others, than is the American Bar Association, the American Medical Association, the AARP, or the aforementioned RAAP.

Intel can tell them to go pound sand.
