Steve, I like MIK a lot. I believe that they will outperform most other retailers. I had the ANN info readily available and actually looked quickly at the news for MIK and did not see the earnings numbers. MIK really did have an excuse up here in the Northeast. We got an arctic cold blast followed by 4 feet of snow. MIK sent me a coupon for 50% off of all framing and pictures and it still was not enough to get me to go over 2 weekends ago. The Schaefers info and the recent talk of valuations being as low as 4 bucks is what had me nervous about CE. It was a pure DCB idea, like KG. KG got pummeled because the SEC requested documents on drug pricing for 50 million in total sales from 1999-2000. Even if there was an issue, I do not see it as being large. Right now the PE is sub 10 and the numbers were reaffirmed less than 6 weeks ago. the other reason that I bought it is that after every high volume decline over the past 2 years, the gap has been filled relatively quickly. good luck today!
