You got it! It is not often that an 800 # "gordilla"
gets hammered. However, I sill expect CSCO to hit 10
before it starts going up.
Take Care

Huawei is not known for innovation.

Neither was Oracle once, or Microsoft. These companies copied IBM, you remember that right? SQL was created at IBM (R*) and copied and commoditized by Oracle, who sold the product for cheaper. Oracle paid "class of's" (people just out of school) slave wages and took IBM down, all the while IBM maintained innovation and quality. Didn't matter.

Anyway I'm not saying Cisco is a loser don't get me wrong. But without the options pay model, some very difficult decisions need to be made. Either cut R&D here by 50% staffing levels, AND pay salaries of 60K max, or dump to india where you can get PhDs at 25K/year. I think the second option is best. If Cisco does that they can make it but to delay the inevitable will be their downfall, jmo.
