The reason the daisy cutter weapon was better suited for Afganistan because 1)the enemy were in pockets in rural areas mostly, 2) the enemy were all fanatics and would fight to the death. If you dropped a firecracker near most of Saddam's force they would give up, why kill them if they will give up. Hopefully the first MOAB will go off
over Saddam's house, unfortunately his daughters are held captive there.
