Nadine,
France is definitely overplaying its hand. Am still drinking her wine, but after this crisis the debt will have to be paid. A suggestion Pellegrino over Perrier for one.
By the way, my english friend, very much against the war and blairs policy, is far more angry at chirac than he is at bush. Europeans know what a stab in the back feels like. They may think bush misguided but chirac has betrayed both the US and GB. Dominique, anique, anique says he will veto any resolution. They are driving us to war. If they said to the iraqis "we tried our best but failed" perhaps saddam would come to his senses and leave. French will pay big time. All countries will know who they cant trust and make decisions accordingly. Mike
