Sorry, bogus requirement. We hire people to do this for us and we critque them as we go along...

Well, I hope you'll make a special case of pointing such "consultants" out so they can be critiqued.. They seem to be pretty rare.

Thus far, I haven't seen too many viable alternatives other than putting heads in the sand and acting as if there isn't this "elephant in the corner" which represents 12 years of failed binding UN resolutions and sanctions, which only the US and UK have taken the action to enforce..

Believe me Ken.. I would REALLY like to hear some viable alternatives to using force to make Saddam comply. No one wants to see ANYONE die (except Saddam Hussein) on either side, and certainly not civilians caught in the middle..

But it seems to me that we have done just about everything possible over the past 12 years and nothing has yet worked.

Heck, even the UN inspectors are starting to leave Baghdad as they come to the end of their 3-month contracts, rather than renewing them and adding more (as France claimed they desired).

The fact that these contracts were only written for 3 months in the first place, implies that the UNSC was not intending to permit long-term inspections to be conducted.. They assumed 3 months would be sufficient to perform the necessary inspections, assuming Saddam complied as needed.. But no..

So please someone.. anyone.. Give us so-called "hawks" (as I've been categorized) an alternative. I really want one...
