You may be American if you believe it's your inalienable right to have a different opinion. You may be American if you know it's your constitutional right to disagree with the president's choices. You may be American if you campaign and vote for those whom you wish to represent you, without ever fearing reprisals from those who wish to take away your rights. And you may have forgotten what it is to be American if you wish to take these rights away from those with whom you disagree.
