Hard to say what will happen. One has to get into the mind of an Arab in order to try to project.

SOme will undoubtedly surrender but there will also be some that will die for the cause. There is bound to be some internal scuffs that will occur also as the country falls there will be retaliatory murders that will be blamed on the war.

A question was raised a couple days ago on a radio show I listened to. That question surrounded the rumor that Saddam was trying to buy American GI clothes. SOme think it is a set up by the AMericans to protect their soldiers........................if anything looks bad to the international press, we will blame it on Saddam's soldiers dressed up as Americans!!

Our own press will only release stories pre-approved by military commanders. I can understand that they wouldn't want their positions disclosed, but I question the logic of having the press corps go in with the military.

I can clearly remember Christianne Amanpour lyng in the bushes on the beach in Somalia while trying to interview the marines as they crept by on their bellies after landing. I did think that was ridiculous and perhaps put those soldiers at unnecessary risk.
