American Spirit makes a political prediction...fyi...

<<...John Kerry can and will beat Bush with a southern running mate. I'm quite sure of it. I've called every election since Carter and called them early. I've never been more sure of one.

It'll be the economy, stupid. Bush cannot revive it, no way by 2004. He'll have trillions in deficits and massive unemployment. That's why I see no bottom for this market. Within weeks our airlines that aren't bankrupt already will go down. Tens of thousands more jobs instantly lost. 306,000 lost last month.

No President can get re-elected with that record. Tony Blair may get thrown out of office too within weeks. Bush promised us one thing (unifier, compassion) gave us another. He's been a big liar and huge failure.

Only post 9-11 patriotism has kept him afloat. Without it he'd be lucky to get the 39% of the vote Dole got. Kerry will make a great president by contrast. A real unifier. Honest, right, smart, inclusive and courageous. A true war hero who can take Bush's only issue away from him, the military. And Kerry can slaughter Bush in any debate. Ask William Weld. Kerry also has 800 million bucks he can use and is eight inches taller than Bush. Little things all add up.

The country will be desperate for a change within a year or so. Bush will go down as the worst president in history bar none and he will take much of the GOP down with him. The GOP needs to regroup. They should have nominated McCain. Now there is an honest man who knows what he's doing. Bush is sometimes just plain embarrassing. Without a script he can barely even speak in public. Charming guy though, I'll give him that. And he has very clever political handlers...>>
