But even if you're talking about him, it seems to me that our politicians have every right to be hostile to Israel if they perceive that America's best interest is threatened by Israel. Jews are not Israel. There are Jewish people all over the world, and in the US. Hostility to them, as a group, wouldn't really make much sense, and would obviously be prejudiced. But being hostile to Israel should be treated as a completely separate issue. One could have no prejudice against the Jewish people, and yet be hostile to Israel, imo. Our government is here to serve us, not Israel, or any other foreign power. The risk of mass bloodletting in that foreign power really doesn't matter imo. US interests come first. I don't think any other country is putting our interests first.
