Been away from the news for most of the day but I got to
thinking when I read about the rumors of US officials
working out a possible surrender with the Iraqi generals.

If Shrub pulls this off, it would be incredible.
(It could also catapult his ratings.)

Think about it. It's a win-win situation.

I mean if the UN could walk in an remove Saddam without war
it would be sheer genius. Without a bullet fired Saddam
would be ousted and Shrub and his cronies would come off as
masterful poker players. This would have the twist of a
great fiction novel.

He would gain so much support in the polls.

I think France would just sit there in disbelief like a
person with an Aces over Kings Full House getting beat by a
Royal Flush. They already cast their vote. Shrub would
have played them perfectly.

Who could picture the dumb little man could do such a
clever move. (I know, he has a lot of help.) <g>

Us peacenicks would get what we want, the oil fat cats
would get what they want, and in a year we will be pumping
dollar per gallon gasoline.

If Dubya gets this done it will be amazing.

...and I wonder if he will see to it that it does happen.
The only bad thing is that the news of it got leaked out.

But then again it could just be one of those friggin rumors
again.

...just the rambling thoughts of a nimrod.
