A new all-time high for GILD today. Pretty amazing given where the rest of the biotechs stand - the company has just done a fantastic job over the last few years. I struck it lucky with GILD because I have March 35 calls I bought when the Adefovir results came out a couple of weeks back with the stock around $34. The market basically ignored the Adefovir news (mistakenly in my view), but ML and BoA coincidentally raised their '04 estimates a few days later and the stock has responded strongly. As RKRW commented to me, better to be lucky than smart. <g> Peter
