WOW! WHAT A POST! <GG>

I wish there was a leader out there who had Bush's moral certitude, but Clinton's diplomatic finesse. Then we'd finally have a great president.

You got that right. Lets be fair, Clinton got lucky, Bush is unlucky- BUT, the USA was not exactly going gangbusters when Clinton took over either. The bottom line is, we need a president who has a little more John Chambers in him than Bush can muster right now. Someone who can present the future in a positive light I mean. When Clinton talked about the "information superhighway" he made it sound like the greatest thing imaginable (which it was for a time). We need to get back to some optimism in this country and quit with the bogus terror alerts that last for a month and are meaningless. And government needs to forgive these tech managers for the bubble- the bad ones are gone anyway. Start doing whats best for industry again, because whats good for business is good for the overall economy.

I actually think this tech BUST is more damaging than the bubble was, and at least some of this bust is artificially created by politicians. We aren't the only country with emerging growth companies afterall, there is competition out there.

<< As far as the next Presidency, I too believe that Bush is gone after this term regardless of what happens in Iraq. >>

And regardless of what john kerry's true ethnicity is?

He used to claim he was irish -- for the boston crowd, mind you -- now i guess it appears he is mainly eastern eruopean jewish. hmmm.. anyway, his wife is of the wasp-ketchup gene, if that helps clear things up...
