Well, I don't think we would have had this bust if it were handled correctly. Throw tomatoes at me if you want. I don't believe the bearish prognostications that all bubbles have to end like the great depression, and imo this one wouldn't have gone on like this had we had the same kind of leadership we had in the 90s. Part of the problem with bursting bubbles in japan, and the old ones in the US were fiscal matters. AG seems to have that more or less under control. But the actions of the government towards business now reminds me of reading the bear threads on SI. Is that the kind of leadership that makes for a great future, I think not.
