In total, that's 71% of the American people who believe the US needs to disarm Saddam..
So there's your "boss".... Why should Bush listen to a "VP" when the Boss is 71% for going to war??

There must be 50 ways to disarm your rival--just like I said.

I am simply addressing your statement taking to task those, of all stripes, who are critical, in any way, of the President's plan and execution of that plan. In complete opposition to your view, I believe that expressing performance reports on Bush, et. al. is a perfectly normal, moral, and healthy thing to do, even without expressing a plan of one's own.

And lastly, when you grumble about people complaining but not offering an alternative, really, all the things we say here are for our entertainment. The things we read (some of them) are for education but the fact is, our depth of understanding is mostly laughable -- just try tekboy's list of typical questions about Nuclear Proliferation which I posted last week if you have any doubts about this...
