your judgement on Bush and his administration is so slanted - it shows in most of the posts you do, least the ones that I read - you leap like a duck on a june bug when anything negative is printed about Bush - you can't post it here quick enough [yes it is your thread, but it is so biased] - you call him the most outrageous inflammatory names - I'm not saying you have to like him, you don't - but your dislike of him is very evident and is coloring your view on the Iraqi threat

how do I know? how do you know? we don't know - we don't have access to any of the reports the administration does - our government has a huge apparatus in place to glean every bit of data that can be collected on Iraq - we have experts assimilating that information - you and I are not experts

you take the word of articles that you read, that fit your slant on things, like the absolute bottom line truth -

for me? I believe the US

I believe the US has my best interests at heart

I'll take my governments word over any other government in the world

and I think Saddam is the smoking gun, a loose cannon - I think he will get away with anything he can, he will abuse any power he has, he will hurt anyone, at any time, in any place, if he feels it will benefit his self-serving interests - he will even trample and sacrifice his own people doing it - if he can do that, how will he treat other people of the world?

do I think he/Iraq will bomb the US with a nuclear bomb or chemical weapon? no

do I think he will continue to amass those weapons? yes

do I think he would give them to terrorists or any other group/country who wants to see the US hurt? yes

not only do I think he would applaud it, I think he wants to do that very thing [we are in his way, we call him on the carpet, he can't get away with as much with us looming in the world] - along with being the premier power in the ME, using and abusing those very weapons to control, bully and terrorize the entire region

and since it happens to be the oil pit of the world, the whole world will suffer along in economic chaos, fear and unrest

I mean, how hard is that to figure out?
