Asia is a huge market for US goods and they are boycotting us though. However there has been tension in china and some other regions for awhile that your average US citizen isn't aware of. Remember that accidental bombing of a chinese embassy a few years ago- there was some major tension over that incident and that wasn't Bush. But Bush has taken the negativity towards the US to a new level though.

I would love it if we all drove fuel cell cars & the Arab world was starved of cash.

I'm not sure how valid this technology is but a very interesting piece on 60 minutes about these hydrogen cars GM is developing. Looked like some real ingenuity went into the design.
