Frank, I owe you a post. To be honest I’m glad that god is on Bushes side because I’ve said before that what we need is a miracle and I think that at the least this gives him conviction and strength. I don’t think he’s beneath sort of grasping the issues he faces, but why does he behave like he is. He is receiving too much help from the wrong people, it was Luther who said that ‘reason’ is the devils whore. I mean getting rid of Saddam, how hard is this, it is very hard. I don’t think of him or you or anyone else except bin laden and saddam as baby killers, not that I ever actually said that before, but some folks insist that I did. I don’t mind big Ideas, but I don’t like stupid ones, and implying that those who are anti this war are pro saddam, which is how this all got started, is one. Just like saying that if you are for this war you are for bin laden is. End of story. The remark was directed to me. I get the feeling other folk were more incensed than I was. Thanks for that, it made me feel better. I hope to get to a response on your other points tomorrow.
