The USD gapped up from 98.30 0n the 12th to 99.60 0n the 13th. In the rules of TA gaps must be filled so this rise in the dollar I would take as being temporary. There is still the massive Federal and public debt which has to be cleansed from the system and I expect this will keep the USD and markets under pressure for some time to come.
