Kerry has never taken special interest $$ at all and had nothing directly to do with the Big Dig. Nor did Kennedy. The Big Dig was Boston city and Mass state project not a federal one, as much as the GOP would like to somehow connect Kerry a la Dukakis and Boston Harbor.

Kerry is the most honest politicians in DC when it comes to contributions. Individuals only. I know for a fact he gives checks back if there's so much as a hint of a tit-for-tat expectation. But if you want to see shocking evidence of big bucks contributions getting tit-for-tat treatment from a Governor, check out THE DIRTY TRUTH book on GW Bush's $$$$$$ from Texas polluters in exchange for allowing them to make Texas the #1 most polluted state under his tenure. Enron was just one of many.

I wouldn't go there. Kerry beats Bush soundly on the issue of public trust and (lack of) corruption. By the way, why is Kenny Lay still walking free?
