"Have you ever seen such amazing arrogance wedded to such awesome incompetence? " I don't think I ever have. Well, see, that just proves you should be watching American Idol. In the early rounds, they have lots and lots of absolutely terrible singers who mouth off at the judges when the judges are less than impressed. Who says that reality TV has nothing to offer! The difference, of course, is that with singers, there's a whole less at stake. If it wasn't my own country exhibiting the above, I think I'd get more of a kick out of it. Yes, that's true. I'm finding myself reacting much as I did to Candid Camera--I know we talked about that--I'm just too embarrassed to watch. I've all but turned off the TV and I'm getting what news I get from written media. Fortunately, I have no plans to be out of the country so I don't have to face questions from foreigners.
