When Iraq invaded Iran and gassed people we helped them and cheered for them to win.

>> Did Iraq invade Kuwait and Iran, and gas Iranians and his own people in response to invasion and terrorist attacks from those or any neighbors? <<

actually the kurds should not be considered saddam's "own people". furthermore, ronald reagan and the CIA blamed the gassings on the iranians. saddam could very likely have gassed the kurds, but in the interest of accuracy and responsibility i would use the preface "allegedly".
