Everybody take note of the source of that quote, the IAP (Islamic Association for Palestine)... the IAP was shut down by the Feds in Dec. '01 for being the voice of Hamas in the U.S.. Besides, how the heck would a reporter for a group called the "Islamic Association for Palestine" be able to sit in on an interaction between Shimon Peres and Ariel Sharon? This quote has never been corroborated by any other news source. Our country plays Sharon like a fiddle, which is a good thing. If he had his way, there'd be so many more settlements in the West Bank. Also, the website in question is run by David Irving, a well-known anti-Semitic British academic who got wiped out losing a libel suit in Britain last year which charged him with Holocaust denial. His books can be found at focal.org I checked on this the last time you posted this info. This is total BS. Seeing as that was said shortly before or after GW took the presidency, I must assume Sharon was talking about buying Gw like he did Bill. To bad Sharon found out differently. Secondly, that was on a site which had links to tribunal trials for Sharon, so I doubt if it is an honest site.
