I understand the intel on the meeting is disputed....but as I also said previously: 1. The alleged meeting is only one of several factors I considered. 2. Intelligence gathering and analysis is not an exact science. 3. The importance of finding a "smoking gun" connection between Al Quaeda and Iraq is vastly overstated. iraqs ties to terror are well documented. And the idea is not to let such threats gather in intensity to the point where they result in actual harm such as 9/11. The comment on Rush, an entertainer, is gratutitous. My views are not influenced by Mr. Limbaugh.
