A bit, but it can be unraveled.

Odd that one is 2.5G and the other 3G depending on where they are sold since they are identical as respects the features which identify them as either 2.5G or 3G.

I recall--perhaps incorrectly--that EDGE, both in the Americas and elsewhere, required a minimum of 384 kbps.

Anyway, the phones are whatever they are. The nomenclature won't change their characteristics or their availability.

They are in essence the counterparts to 1x.
