This doesn't mean that the Belgium court's decision is necessarily wrong.

The Belgium court in question did not even start handling the case yet, which will start after Sharon leaves office.

Similarly, it is unlikely that the Belgium court is not party to such biases.

Granted that a court in Israel would be a much better judge of events than one in Belgium, there does not seem to be much choice when the courts at home do not touch the issue.

The real solution is creation of international courts

I agree. International Criminal Court was a beautiful start in this direction. Too bad the US had to undermine it by asking for immunity to its citizens and then when that was refused, pull out completely.
