No one expects the economy to right itself in 2003. If the Bush tax plans are cut way back then 2004 could be a neutral year, but 2003 is looking bad-bad-bad. You just cannot get around all those deficits, lost jobs, and international division. If Iraq is conquered quickly and cleanly, that will help, but this recession is not just about the war, it's about Bush's policies. First they would have to change. This country is hemmoraging wealth now.

So what do you expect to go "right"? A war we didn't need to fight anyway? Not enough. Two wars? A very risky gambit.
