more like the painful reality of the world we currently live in.

war - foregone conclusion it's happening.

retaliation - if you were them, and they attack a muslim country, and you already hate them, wouldn't you want to attack NY, DC, LA??

budget deficits - ALWAYS happens when all three houses are aligned.

economic situation - getting worse by the minute.

does all this portend end of the world as you say?? NO, but it's a cautious environment at best right now.

I am not of the "end of the world" view. Nothing "economically" is getting better in the US, and this war to come won't help. The peaceful, economic prosperity of the nineties is beyond us. The war-mongering, large budget deficits, and increasing bankruptcy's of the 80's are back!! The bull had his run. I've never traded a bear market, but I know when one is upon us. And just like the bull run, it won't go away for a while.
