Because of the anthrax or because of the anticipated depleted uranium contamination? <ggg> ;-)

Life could be worse - there is an area of Mountain View, Ca where the groundwater is contaminated with TCE (industrial solvent with carcinogenic properties banned in the '80's). There is concern that it may be diffusing into homes in the area.
...South San Jose also has TCE contamination in the groundwater. And 10 miles south Morgan Hill is shutting down wells for perchlorate contamination.

Personally I would take the anthrax contaminated area over life in the middle of any industrial American city. Oh wait - I did. Last year there was an anthrax outbreak 5 miles south of my home (on a cattle ranch). No special measures were taken except to quarantine the cattle. The only reason it made the news was because is was shortly after the "athrax letters" went out.
