David Wurmser, in the State Dept, is another part of this group of superpatriots??.
See below for CBC Radio Commentary on Pearle, Feith and Wurmser and their 1996 plan to Netanyahu to regime change Iraq and attack Syria.
From the Commentary:

>>"A study conducted in 1996 at the Project for the New American Century, a prestigeous American think tank, sheds some light on the US strategy. The study, entitled A Clean Break, proposed that Israel should coordinate its strategy with the United States, strike at select targets in Syria, and remove Saddam Hussein from power in Iraq.

One cannot dismiss this report as another marginal study by yet another think tank. The group that produced it was headed by Richard Pearle, who now chairs the Pentagon's Defence Policy Board. The team also included Douglas Feith - he's now the Undersecretary of Defense for Policy, and David Wurmser, who is a special consultant to the State Department's arms-control chief, John Bolton.

The very people who proposed this strategy to Israel six years ago are the ones who now define what 'security' means for the Bush Administration, and this is reflected in the present US strategy."<<
