It is about geopolitical power. And oil. That would be such a short term prospect. The only guarantee that Bush has, is that he'll be around less than two years. If he's re-elected give him 6. If he's around for 6 years. Europe might just put aside it's petty bickering and start an arms race to defend itself against the evil empire. Get France, the UK and Russia combining their nuclear forces and you've got some hefty power. In the ball park of what the US has...what's a few megatons here or there. It's not like BMD is ever going to work. jttmab
