The Jewish Europeans did not throw them into the water, they threw them to the four winds, Lebanon, Jordan, and elsewhere. The forbid their return.

But it is perfectly sane and consistent to allow people from half way around the earth to "return" to their "homeland" after 1900 years?

The land was settled by Jews and Arabs, not Europeans.
